Increase Productivity With Time Management

We live in a world today where we are constantly connected to the world. If you are anything like me, you are on Facebook and all the other social media platforms 24/7 and checking your email constantly. However, as addictive and at times necessary it is to be plugged in, you still need to schedule in down time to recharge your batteries and be with friends and family. But in a world of digital marketing and networking, how do you find the time to disconnect?

Time management is one of the greatest skills you can develop and hone to set your priorities, complete your tasks, and find the time to disengage from the world for a bit. When strategizing what would be a good use of your time, use some of these tips to increase your productivity:

  • Delegate tasks. It is easy to get wrapped up into doing everything yourself but it can lead to stress and burnout.

  • Prioritize your work load. Before you start the day, this could even be done the night before, make a list of all the tasks you need complete. Focus on the ones that are the most important and need to be completed first. In his book, Eat That Frog, Brian Tracy recommends completing the hard task first to make the rest of your day more productive.

  • Start early. The most successful people start their day early using those morning hours to be more proactive and productive.

What are some things you could do today to be more productive? What are some of your rituals to be productive? We look forward to hearing from you.
