Does your company have a strong corporate culture? There are so many benefits when company's work to create a vision which includes and values their employees. As you evaluate the culture of your company, some questions to ask yourself are: what kind of corporate culture do you want to create? What are your company's core values, approach to customer service, and how do you define performance and operational excellence? What kind of team environment do you want to be a part of?
When developing her business, Sarah Jones, co-owner of Bamboo Reality, looked at what kind of culture she wanted to create with her business. By having a strong vision of the type of brokerage she wanted to run, she decided to bring everyone together to create a company vision board. Not only was she able to have everyone contribute to the vision statement, but it was a great way to build stronger professional relationships and improve the company culture. Sarah also encouraged her team to create individual vision boards so employees could include their strengths to helping the company grow.
